Within a year of starting comedy, Mike won the “Funniest Man in Rhode Island Contest” and shortly thereafter was featured on the Showtime Comedy Club Network. Nicknamed “The Comedy Barbarian,” Mike pushes the envelope every performance. Although sometimes billed as an adult act, Michael doesn’t offend but tries to play on the uptight attitude that is instilled in our society.

Baterbys Summer Auction

Baterbys Art Auction Gallery will host a Summer Auction on Saturday, August 28. It’s the perfect time to liven up the the art on your walls! Baterbys Summer Collection features new artists such as Hua Chen and Ferjo and new works by some of the most sough-after contemporary stars such as Gockel, Pino and Azoulay. Every artwork that you purchase at the auction will support B.A.S.E. Camp, an non-profit whose mission is to provide a year-round series of programs for children and families facing the challenge of living with cancer and other life threatening, hematology-related illnesses.

The auction will begin promptly at 6pm, with a preview starting at 5pm. Online bidding is available if you cannot make it to the auction gallery.

D.L. is an accomplished stand-up comedian appearing in The Kings of Comedy, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and performing in comedy clubs and large venues across the country. He can also be seen on his new hit Comedy Central series Weekends at the DL.
